A project of the Des Moines Rehabbers Club, "Renovation Boot Camp" is a classroom seminar series designed to give participants a basic understanding of the renovation process from purchase to project completion. The classes will help "demystify" the process by providing practical advice, support and encouragement, and resources for a successful renovation project.

Class sessions bring participants together with experts in each of the topics.

Des Moines Perspective is a blog dedicated to discussion of urbanism and community in the Des Moines metro area. I use this web site/blog to advocate for more thoughtful, connected, compact development in Des Moines and the surrounding areas.

After many months of (very) sporadic work trying to fix critical technical issues, last night I finally stumbled upon the reason behind dmperspective's web illness. It is fixed now, and I will resume regular postings.
